At Once & Again, we are so grateful for the opportunities we get every day. In an effort to give back to our community, our stores will ring out 2017 by raising awareness and funds for 3 terrible diseases.
Beginning in October, each of our locations will showcase a Christmas tree covered top to bottom with handmade ornaments, decorated in honor of those lives impacted by breast cancer. With the sale of each ornament, our stores will be donating to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Our locations will unveil another Christmas tree at the start of November, adorned all over with ornaments in memory of those lives affected by pancreatic cancer. With the sale of each ornament, our stores will be donating to the National Pancreatic Cancer foundation.
Sometime before December, we will reveal our final Christmas tree, decked entirely with hand-crafted ornaments made to honor all those born with Thalassemia. With the sale of each ornament, our stores will be donating to the National Cooley’s Anemia Foundation.
From the bottom of our heart, we’d like to honor those who are, or know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, or Thalassemia. Each ornament has been handmade by a Once & Again staff member to educate our community and fight to end these diseases. Our team has spent countless hours gluing ribbons and rhinestones, designing inspirational tags, sourcing trees, and getting our store windows to look just right.
All of us at Once & Again feel so lucky, blessed, and grateful for the chance to give back to those within our community. If you or someone you know has suffered, you’re not alone.
Be sure to visit us October 1st to see the unveiling of our first trees – all trees will stay standing until all ornaments are sold!
